This section of the site is designed so that you can tell your identity theft stories to others. Hopefully, by providing some information as to what can and does happen, it will help to serve as a warning to others.

It seems that to many people, identity theft is an abstract concept. They know it is bad and unpleasant, but unless they are a victim, it is all rather meaningless. But since so many people become a victim each year, identity theft clearly is not an abstract concept.

So we hope that this section cans serve as a wake up call to others. If you have been a victim, please tell us your story...

We firmly believe that if more people realised the stress, anguish and destruction that is caused by identity theft, lots more people would take some basic steps of protective action.
